Bill Zimmer (founder) grew up working in the jewelry business.  Roberta  Zimmer worked in her family?s junior department store.  He remembered the name of nearly everyone he ever met.  She motivated and encouraged through good and not so good times.  Together, Bill and Roberta Zimmer purchased a small Wilmington, NC jewelry store in 1946 and named it REEDS Jewelers.

The years that followed became the pages upon which they would write their version of the American success story.  They had a simple business philosophy that still guides REEDS Jewelers today.  Treat people the way you want to be treated.  Present the finest jewelry and watch collections available.  Customers are part of the family.
